Excerpt: When we first started looking for cameras, we didn’t realize how expensive they all were. After a couple days of looking, we quickly knew that if we wanted a good camera, it was going to cost us. So we settled on the Canon A590 IS. I was looking for a camera that would take pictures inside in darker places. What we found was the opposite. In darker rooms, this camera takes terrible pictures. Even with the flash on, you will only get halfway good pictures.
Excerpt: This camera was my brothers, but from my experience handling it, it was relatively easy to use with the regular functions of a point and shoot camera including zoom, landscape setting, macro setting, fast moving setting, etc. The only bad part is that it does require batteries and is a little bit bulkier compared to others.
Excerpt: I bought this camera about 4 years ago on sale for $99. I LOVE it. It has been an awesome camera so far. There are tons of features, including manual settings for those of us who like to play around a little. There are also plenty of preset settings to choose from as well. This camera has never really taken good pictures in low light, despite the flash. They always come out very dark, like there was never flash used at all. Taking pictures at night? Forget it.
Excerpt: The Canon Powershot A590 IS is a great buy for under 200$. (I got mine for 120$!) If you know how to use a camera's manual settings, this camera is a great cheap alternative to the basic point and shoot. It has the capability to take absolutely gorgeous pictures- crisp, vibrant, stunning. The Image Stabilization technology really helps those with shaky hands (like myself!), and the little camera has some other great features in its case.
Excerpt: The Canon A590 IS camera is an older model therefore it is priced right. This model has all the bells and whistles. 8 megipixels. It is small and compact but has a very good zoom range. It also has up to 1600 ISO available. The image stabilizer works very well. This is a very fine camera for the picture buff.
Excerpt: I received this camera as a gift after my ancient Nikon Coolpix was stolen. At the time I wasn't too impressed since it didn't make up for the loss of my good friend which I knew so well, but a year and a half on, I take this camera with me everywhere. There is a learning curve to discover how to get the best pictures in each situation, but I have used it successfully in light, dark, indoor, and outdoor situations for pictures of still life, animals, and people, and it...
Excerpt: The Cannon PowerShot A590IS is our first digital camera. We were a later adopter of digital cameras than most of our friends, as we loved our film. This camera has helped with our adjustment to the digital camera world - it is very easy to use. One of the things that is great is how quick and easy it is to download the picture files once you have taken your photos.
Easy to use camera yields great pictures at an affordable price.

Excerpt: The Canon A590 IS is a compact camera offered at a reasonable price. It is easy enough to use for a point-and-shoot photographer, with enough adjustments available to keep an advanced user happy. The following features make this camera an attractive bargain: The shooting modes have preset camera settings for shooting the optimum picture. Excerpt: This is the second Canon brand digital camera our family has owned. I purchased this one after the first one got dropped. After doing a good bit of research and seeing that this was one of the best-rated digital cameras for the money, I purchased it. It was fairly easy to learn to use.
I got this Canon for $100.00 last year and its great.

Excerpt: I like my Power Shot Canon A590. I got it last year for a fantastic price. $100.00 from an email at amazon. Could not pass it up. I bought a telephoto lens kit for as well. I have a older model that is a power shot A520 and that camera is about five years old and still is doing great. Canon makes a great product. I still have our old 35mm camera for longer range. Now this Canon A590 with features that it has, and staples the scene, is good.
