Re-furbished Cannon Powershot A520

Overstock
17 October 2007
  • Summary: My only comment on this purchase thru Overstock is that I was not told when purchasing that it would be re-furbished. At the same time I am fine with it, if I had been told I still would have bought the camera. It was a good deal and it works wonderfully. I am happy with it.

Digital Camera & Accessory Kit

Overstock
20 September 2006
  • Summary: I have used the camera some - have not printed off any pictures as yet -- but I have been very happy with the way it shoots & the size of the view screen. I was a little disappointed with the accessory kit as it is for a camcorder and not a camera. So it really is pretty useless to me.

Good Value for Price

Overstock
19 September 2006
  • Summary: The Canon PowerShot A520 (4MP) is a good value purchase. While it doesn't have quite as intuitive a menu interface as the Sony DSC range, it is, nevertheless, fairly easy to use. Occasionally, when I'm using the tripod or timer function, shots will end up blurry.

Best selling digital camera series!

superman2k3 "superman2k3", Amazon
9 June 2006
  • Summary: Canon has fully redesigned the Powershot A series to make it lighter (uses only 2 AA batteries now), smaller and with 4x optical zoom. Pro's, 1. Very good image quality. 2. 4 MP and 4x optical zoom (A510, the 3.2MP version should be fine for most though). 3.

Slight trouble with lens cover, otherwise a great camera

J. Barber "jeffb90", Amazon
11 April 2006
  • Summary: All the features and functions of this camera operate perfectly, but there seems to be a problem with the lens cover (lens cap, as Canon calls it) on some cameras. I bought two A520's for work, and BOTH cameras had malfunctioning lens covers, meaning they would not always slide fully open.
