  • Summary: The body of the camera was damaged when I received it. So we sent it back. Performance was OK otherwise.

Eh, it's OK

Melissa Auvil, Amazon

  • Summary: Much slower than I would have liked. And I have trouble adjusting the "theme" for taking photos (ex- portrait to beach). But otherwise photos are clear and camera holds up well.

Disappointed

Simple Gardener "Carol'", Amazon

  • Summary: Comparing this to my Pentax Optio which died, this is not as easy to use. The quality of the pictures isn't any better. I chose it because it was supposed to be easy. I don;t find it so. Full Manual is not paper--but a PDF, which is a real pain to try to find out how to do something. Also got this because it was supposed to have great low light sensitivity---well either it doesn't or I haven't figured it out yet.

not bad.. but fairly slow.

Hoang Tran, Amazon

  • Summary: I got this for my parents since the buttons and screen were bigger than most small digital cameras. I thought it would be easy for them, turn on, point, auto focus, shoot. That wasn't the case. The build quality is a bit disappointing.. but given the price, i should've lowered my expectations. When turning the camera on, it is fairly slow...almost "cell phone camera" slow. I set everything on automatic so my parents just need to turn it on and shoot.

Low-light photos very grainy

M. Edwards "fpmdsc", Amazon
27 October 2013
  • Summary: I had hoped to get away with getting a quality pocket point-and-shoot camera for about $100. Big mistake. I have great appreciation for most Canon imaging products, but this one misses the mark (although I don't blame Canon at this price). With relatively favorable reviews I was hoping for a CCD sensor that had the quality of a CMOS sensor. But such point-and-shoots apparently don't exist. Low-light images (e.g.

Not satisfied

Ryene, Amazon
18 August 2013
  • Summary: I read a bunch of reviews before purchasing this camera and they were mostly positive but I wish I would have picked a different camera. It is a decent simple camera for regular picture taking. But the zoom is awful. U get a blurred, unrecognizable picture when you zoom in. I was looking for a camera that was better than my 6 year old Kodak but honestly, they seem to be exactly the same.

Disappointed

Colibri, Amazon
9 August 2013
  • Summary: This camera was to replace an old Elph, but instead it's my backup camera. The camera has problems focusing. I take a lot of pictures, and 99% are not crisp and in focus--especially faces. Colors are dull and washed out, and sometimes the color balance is off. The video part works when the subject is not moving and the sound quality is fine.
