Summary: I really do like this camera! But I had to replace it THREE times when I purchased it (all done quickly and easily). Each time the screen showed dead pixels (they show up as white squares) and they were not just on the screen, but on the final print out of the photo as well. This last one I exchanged has finally given up (a year later) now has many dead pixels which are showing up on final printed product. Very sad!
Summary: I have had several Canon cameras but not a small budget one that is easy to carry with me. I am surprised and impressed with the results. The camera, as one would anticipate, is easy to use. The colors tend not to be as vivid as with my other Canons, but I usually use computer software to adjust, resize and crop my photos, so that is no big deal. I am able to end up with what I want.
Summary: My wife swears by this product, stating that it is the greatest camera she has ever owned. Besides the quality of the pictures, the ease and simplicity of usage seems to have great appeal. Thanks!
Summary: Unfortunately, after only 1 1/2 years this camera stopped focusing correctly. All regular views and especially zoomed photos are all out of focus although the camera acts like it is focusing. To get it repaired would have cost more than the original price or for a newer, better camera.
