Conclusion: 2.5 I am very disappointed with the camera. My 14mpx Camera takes much better pictures and is much easier to control features. It also has a light for video which this does not. I am most disturbed by the fact that it will not charge via the USB cable which almost all others do. So using the USB cable to transfer photos drains my battery. This is not disclosed on the package. I am considering taking it back!
Pros: Bright LCD, Lightweight/Portable, easy to use
Cons: Missing features/settings, Poor image quality, Short battery life, Complicated controls/menu, can't charge with usb
Conclusion: Solid construction but... 1. No USB/interface cable included. Available online, but is out of stock. Seriously, for the price, I would think Canon could afford to include this cable...most other brands do, and it is not clearly indicated on the package what is included, so you're out of luck when you've opened it. 2. The user interface is very complex.
Summary: Needed an inexpensive point and shoot, this camera fit the bill. Photo quality is okay, nothing great but not terrible. Better than a camera phone (mostly) but far from a dslr. Battery holds up well, is easy to carry, and preforms as advertised. If you're looking for an affordable point and shoot that is easy to use, this on definitely fits the bill.
Summary: This camera is pretty good for the price, but I find that it is not exceptional. I'm not sure if the image quality is much better than my phone, although I haven't yet uploaded the images to my computer (I'm still waiting for the cable to ship). The settings menus is particularly lacking, I can't even take a shot that delays a few seconds to take the picture. It takes a second for the image to focus, so the images can be slightly blurry if you're not careful.
Summary: The picture quality is great but the lag between shutter and saving the photo gives enough time to miss another good shot. Maybe a setting needs to be altered to make this better but I am tech savvy and it seems this is just what you get for a $60 camera. I would have returned it but it was out of the window for return. Canon's all the way when it comes to point and shoots, just not this one.
Canon PowerShot A2500 16MP Digital Camera with 5x Optical Image is an ok Camera as it takes great pictures

Summary: Canon PowerShot A2500 16MP Digital Camera with 5x Optical Image is an ok Camera as it takes great pictures. It just has one queer flaw. If not fully charged, pictures taken with the device come out unreadable by any image software I have on my computer. I've tried everything to solve this problem. The fault seems to lie with the Battery Charge; if it falls below a certain level and you take a photograph, it renders it unreadable.
Summary: I am having a lot of trouble with this camera. I don't find it user friendly and the book ins't either. I will stay with my sanyo that is 10MP it is much easier to use and take video's on. This was a disappointment.
Summary: I was hoping the picture quality would be better and you have to buy your own memory card;it doesn't come with one. It can't even hold a single picture without one like my other camera could. I suppose for the price though, it's a decent little camera. Really no other complaints.
