Summary: My mother wanted a small point and shoot camera. I immediately turned to Canon. For the price the quality is ok. It is small and light weight. Simple menu and buttons helps her work the camera no problem. The one reason I took one star off was they sent me the wrong color. I ordered the red one and on the box is says the color selection is red but when I opened it is actually pink. It is a bright pink color no mistaking it for red.

Summary: After many years with a Kodak camera, this Canon came along at a price that I couldn't ignore. I have yet to read the guidebook, but the basics were extremely easy to figure out. As time goes on, I'm learning more and more about it and I'm enjoying it. The only drawback I've seen so far is the image is easily distorted with slight movement. I may be that I haven't fully figured that one out yet or maybe I just tremble more than I used to.
Summary: I like the camera a lot. It took quite a while to arrive from the shipper (not sure why....) You really need to read the directions to learn how all the buttons and thingys work. I didn't do that and ended up disappointed with some not-so-great pics from a recent day trip. It has a LONG life battery that you charge on the wall, so BIG PLUS that you don't have to suck up AA batteries every 15 minutes. Uploads easily, nice video feature.
