Semi-Satisfied: OK for the money.

Mr. OK, Adorama
18 March 2014
 • Excerpt: I just needed a little camera to carry around that is not big and bulky, like my Canon EOS is. The A2200 was inexpensive, and fit the size I was looking for. The small size is wonderfully convenient, but I'm not really impressed with the photo quality. I've seen some smartphones produce clearer pictures. Of course, I'm still learning the controls, so I may eventually find this camera's sweet spot.

As always, ADORAMA had quick delivery of the merchandise.
 • Pros: Easy To Use, Small / Compact
 • Cons: Lag / Shutter Delay, Poor Image Quality, Poor Image Stabilization

GOOD Enough

Amazon
21 June 2012
 • Summary: I would thought it was be new 2012 type of camera but seem like a 2009 camera but it does work fine. I dont have any complaints for it right now except i need to know how to operate it because it seems so technical.

Missed photos

Amazon
1 January 2012
 • Summary: This camera does not click fast enough. The best picture was the one you tried to take 3 seconds ago. Clicking the camera did not take the photo instantly it delayed the shutter. I also had more blurred photos than I had with other cameras.

The manual could be better.

Life long reader "Bill", Amazon
25 December 2011
 • Summary: I worked in a photo lab for several years and took thousands of images. I have enlarged several, which are now hanging on our walls. The digital age has arrived now, and I welcome it. First, I like the cameras' size. Getting started, the manual states that the date, when entered will hold for a long time. As the manual stated, I removed the battery when not in use. After reinserting the battery, the date shows up blank. This has happened a number of times.

User Review

Lachlan6091, DP Review
30 September 2011
 • Excerpt: i think that canon should lokk at what i'm saying. the camera is ok it could be better for example... make the camera focus better. the good... .the flash range is good .the Action/sports mode actully works! .the battery life is good. .good shape. the bad... .you can't use normal zoom whilst taking a video you have to use digital zoom. .when you change to widescreen it reduces the quality. .i think they could improve on the ISO. .not many manual settings.

Alright.

Virtually Done, Amazon
6 May 2011
 • Summary: For $100 bucks, it's not bad. It has a lot of features (mini mode, fisheye mode, vivid mode, ect..). It has the potential to take great photos, but I often find it difficult to focus with certain lighting; and there is sometimes a delay after taking a photo (no "continuous" shooting). I will say i'm impressed with its durability. I've dropped it on concrete floors, throw it around, and it still works like it did when I first bought it.
