Pros: Good handling, medium learning curve. Good for amateur, good close up pics.
Cons: This is my second Canon digital Power Shot. The first one died after 1 year. This one is following, lasted a little over 1 year. Both had problems with the view screen then deleted the stored pictures. Limited use of 100 shots.
Pros: The size of the is great. For daytime and outdoor stills its fine. Video capture is ok. I used the camera at work and it worked fine for video and still shots. I was using it to create a furniture layout plan, and inventory equipment to be moved.
Cons: The button placement is awkward with some of the functions being on the 4way pad and not the menu. The buttons are not backlit. I used it for the Sarah Brightman concert in LA and I found myself becoming very frustrated at its lack of ease of use.
