Summary: Simple, very very compact and Excellent Point and Shoot Camera with 12X Optical Zoom. The Best part is, it doesn't have RESISTIVE Touch Screen like the Canon IXUS 510. The camera is very compact that it might slip and fall off from your hands, so use the loop strap for safety.
Summary: I got the blue version and I have to say it's a looker all right. Not seen any other digital camera's from various companies on the market that look good as the Canon IXUS 500 HS. The camera quality is great and you have a lot of features to tweak in the settings.
Summary: This is my second Ixus (used to have a 95, but it was stolen, otherwise probably wouldn't have replaced it). The edges and corners seem much 'squarer' than the old one, but so far I am very impressed with the performance.
Summary: Let me from the outset to say I am not a professional photographer, just a committed amateur who in the past had a number of Nikon SLR bodies, a good selection of lens and all the other kit required for my hobby of wildlife photography when I lived in Kenya.
Summary: I chose this camera for my wife as s surprise Christmas present. She was delighted to receive it on that day but was then bitterly disappointed as she could not try it out without a memory disk which was not supplied.
Summary: when i first revived this item it was faulty from turning it in. i contacted Amazon who automatic sent out a replacement and gave me a return details. all this was hassle free and fee of charge. i then revived a replacement camera within a few days and i was 100% happy with it all.
