Summary: Bought for my wife to replace an Ixus 30 which has finally faded after several years of manic snapping. You now get much more camera for far less than the first one cost and an expensive leather Canon original carrying case still fits. Bargain!
Summary: i own a Canon 500D DSLR and use it a great deal and very happy with the performance i get. There are however occasions when i do not wish to carry it and simply want to drop in a pocket a small camera. This 255HS is the one i decided to buy and have been very pleased with the initial results.

Summary: Nikon is #1; but does not have Wi-Fi. This camera will communicate with your smartphone, the main PC / Latop or print directly to a Canon Printer. Ease of use - its small and easy to bung in a pocket -unlike my big Fuji HS2.
Summary: Had previous version of this camera and had it stolen. Replaced it with a cheaper one which was rubbish so had to buy the latest version of this instead (as well!). Worth every penny! Better than first version. Superb zoom. Excellent quality of pictures,. Easy to use. All round great purchase.
Summary: Gr8 camera. Takes really good photos. Still trying to figure out all the features. Of course as seems usual nowadays, the manual is only available online & downloading that was a bit of a challenge. Then how do you keep it in an easy reference format? Kindle wasn't much good so ended up printing it!
