Summary: I love this camera! It takes really good pictures and I have been loving taking pictures with it. The only downside is that the touchscreen is not that easy to use, specially with your fingers.
Summary: wish there were more printed instructions on use. when using the cd you have to remember and when out cannot recall instructions. haven't found my way round it all yet after two weeks daily use. otherwise ok.
Summary: This is my first digital camera after years of using a Canon SLR film camera, and I couldn't be more pleased. For such a small and handy camera the quality, performance, and versatility is quite simply amazing. I have been able to capture scenes and video clips to rival anything I have before, all from something small enough to carry without even noticing it. The software for downloading the images to my laptop and then for viewing and editing them is equally impressive.
Summary: I bought this camera as a slim lightweight I could carry round with me to take "snaps", however the quality of the pictures and video is far better that I could have imagined. I normally use a DSLR Nikon which was 10x the price of the IXUS, but the quality of the pictures and the fact I can carry it with me at all time means that the Nikon has been left in its case since the IXUS arrived.
I am very happy with this tiny pocket/travel camera

Summary: I bought this camera to be my pocket camera to go with me wherever I go. It is tiny, so it fits into even small pockets like a shirt pocket. It claims to be a 16.1 megapixel camera but for those who know about cameras then this does not equate to image detail. So I use this camera on its highest image size and quality setting then when I download them I resize them to 50% with no sharpening using Paint.NET and this gives me very decent 4 megapixel images.
