Summary: Holey moley! I bought a refurbished gem!!!! I LOVE this camera! On auto I look like a genius! Now I am playing with all the settings. I am thrilled. I only paid 125.00 and I have had no problems of any kind. I will update if I do. Wow. Amazing little camera. My pictures all turn out!
Summary: This little camera takes gorgeous clear pictures with beautiful colors. Get so many compliments on the great pictures this camera takes. Love the higher 8x wide angle zoom feature & 3 inch screen which many pocket cameras don't have. Easily fits in a pocket or small purse. Great to carry for everyday pictures and was a wonderful backup to our bigger Canon 60D for quick shots on a recent trip to Italy. Very easy to use. I definitely recommend this little camera!
Summary: This is a cool little camera. Packed with all kinds of useful features and relatively easy to master even though the menu system is a little bit cumbersome. I don't take all that many pictures so the battery charge lasts me for a long time. It swings into action quickly and shuts down quickly also. Nice and small but feels very solid.
Summary: I purchased a 310HS for my daughter for Christmas 2011 for her to use during her semester abroad in equatorial Africa. It served her well in that harsh climate and she just loves it. For myself, I started with Canon in 1973 with a 35mm FTb-QL, and used an AE1-Program from 1983 until a thief helped himself to it about 10 years ago. Since then, I toyed with an old style F-1, and I presently have a pair of sweet F-1Ns, a black AE1-Program, and a 20D.
Summary: This is our 5th Elph. They are great......this one is no exception. Each one has offered the current state of the art technology even slow learners could use. This Elph, the 310 has great zoom capabilitiers, wonderful video, and continued ease of use. I was thrilled to find it in black, something the shops here in the East Coast claim is not made, on Amazon. All in all a wonderful, compact camera that does more than any SLR from the 60-70-80-90-2000's that I have owned!
Summary: I am really impressed with the quality and style of this camera. Takes absolutely beautiful pictures and video, and has a wonderful LCD screen. I love all the different shooting options like selective color, kids/pets, super vivid, toy camera etc... Very easy to use/select what the best setting is for the situation you are shooting.
Summary: This is a nice little camera. You do have the flexibility to change the ISO and white balance. In long shutter mode you can go up to 15 seconds. A Very Nice feature. While zooming the noise in the video is awful. That's why I'm giving this a 4 & not a 5. Be prepared, zoom in first then start shooting. If your zooming in & out constantly all you'll hear is the camera and not the subject, ( which negates being able to zoom )the Video in low light is OK. Outside it's GREAT!
Summary: Canon PowerShot ELPH 310 HS 12.1 MP CMOS Digital Camera with 8x Wide-Angle Optical Zoom Lens and Full 1080p HD Video (Silver) I was so looking forward to getting this camera. I have the 300 hs and thought the 310 hs would offer a few upgraded features. It arrived about two hours ago and couldn't wait to try it out. I already had a charged battery so I was good to go. I love the added zoom and the pictures are detailed and had plenty of color.

Summary: Although most of my photography is in fine art studio work, I still use DSLRs and small point-and-shoots for travel and personal snapshots. I have owned and used both Nikon and Canon, and have personally used the Canon 780, S90, S95, and Elph 300, as well as this 310. Keeping in mind that photography is 95% photographer and 5% equipment, this 310 does allow one to create stunning images in more diverse conditions than its predecessors, including the S90, S95 series.
Awesome, tiny cam w/ one BIG caveat - don't put it in your pocket!

Summary: Before I get to the negative portion, I've got to say this is a functionally oustanding camera. I spent a great deal of time weighing this cam against the 300 HS, 500 HS, 510 HS, S95, S100 and SX230 HS. This camera turned out to be the best combination of features and functions I could hope for... a fairly wide angle at the short end, great 8x zoom, and unbelievable low-light shooting.
