Summary: If you ask any famous YouTuber what their go-to vlogging camera is, they'll say the Canon 300HS. The quality of this camera has not been surpassed in the P&S field nor has features. I rarely if ever take photos with this camera but the photo quality is on par with similar 12MP P&S cameras. Pros: - Stereo mics are located ON TOP of the camera. This records voice evenly when filmed in front or behind the camera.
Summary: I bought this as a true "pocket camera" to carry in the 'leg pocket' of my work pants. Takes great photos and has held up well. Usually available at a significant discount as I write this (3/18/13).
Summary: Lots of options, great picture quality, great video quality, light weight, somewhat sturdy. You get a lot of camera for the money. Only downside is it really can go through the battery quick but I have it doing all sorts of trick shots.
Summary: My new Canon 300 is everything I expected and more! The pictures are clear and concise and operation is easy, perfect for me! I wish I could have got it in red for the same price! This Camera is outstandng!
Summary: This is a great compact camera. Bought it for my father, who is about as good with gadgets as the Amish. I looked around (in stores) to find a digital camera that didn't have a million unnecessary options and buttons. This camera is very easy to use. It only took my dad about 2 uses to really figure out how to use it in the most basic form (turn it on, take pictures, change flash, view pictures, load pictures onto computer).
Very User Friendly and Worked Great Out of the Box!!!!!

Summary: I unboxed the camera and charged the battery (about 1 1/2 Hours) put the battery in the camera and powered it up. It takes beautiful clear photos and really nice video. I initially purchased the ELPH 510hs and I did not like the touch screen. I found myself fumbling around on the camera because I would accidentally touch the screen and change things I didn't want to change.
Summary: I bought this camera to be shared by 15 people at our office. It has taken great photos and is intuitive enough such that people with little or no experience can turn it on and take great pictures. So far, so good.
Summary: This was bought as a present, and the recipient is very pleased with the camera. The video quality is quite superior as is the low light capability. In general, very pleased with the purchase.
