Summary: This is such a great deal - I have not even used all of my accessories yet. The best thing is that a lithium battery comes with the camera, and there is an extra one in this kit. In theory, one battery can be re-charging to be ready when the other runs down. I have had this camera for over a month, and the battery is still going strong. I love my little purple camera. I keep it with me all the time - I am a blogger and post a lot of things on Facebook as well.
Summary: Camera is as expected, good price and a simple to use camera. However the buyer should have been alerted to the fact that there is no manual for this model. When you go to the Canon website to download the electronic manual it is for another model.. The brief instruction in the box for the camera does not include diagrams for the 135 model but for another. This makes no sense.
Excerpt: It's been a couple of years since I've bought a "point and shoot" and I was pleasantly surprised at the improvements made by Canon. It is so simple to use. No need to fiddle with the menu settings when switching from portrait to landscape - the camera knows! The zoom function works great and the flash is good for a small camera.
Pros: Easy To Use, Fast/accurate auto-focus, Good Image Quality, Good Image Stabilization, Small / Compact
Summary: I bought this camera to replace a few older model digital cameras- a Canon about 6 yrs old, and a HP camera about 10 yrs old that stopped working along time ago. This is by far the best camera so far for the price It takes great pictures on the auto feature, which is what I plan to use exclusively. It also takes clear shots with movement- such as trains and white water. Shots are clear even with user movement.
