Excerpt: Last year, I bought a fleet of A4000 for my Cameras as Computing Systems course students. This year, I added a fleet of ELPH115IS. They are pretty much the same camera.... Differences: (1) Sensor, general capabilities, and pricing are all similar: an excellent compact CHDK camera with no aperture control (but an ND filter), a 16MP CCD sensor supporting only up to 720 video, and a lens that distorts a lot at the wide end and is corrected in-camera
Summary: I have been using this camera regularly and it is so easy to handle. It takes perfect photos and is very compact. The only minor fault is that the screen is very reflective and I had to buy a screen filter so that I could see subjects properly in sunshine. It was like looking in a mirror when I was trying to take photos! Hence the 4 star and not 5 star rating. Maybe Canon should look at this when they produce an upgraded model. Otherwise it is a lovely camera.
Excerpt: Canon IXUS is a portabe, light in weight and user friendly camera with good quality resolution of the clicked pictures. This is best suited for family functions/wedding and for outing purposes. The quality of the product compared to its price is a good deal to go for Canon IXUS. I liked it and recommend to my friends and dear ones to go for it.
Pros: Easy to Use, Good in Low Light, Great Resolution, Large Clear LCD, Small / Compact
Excerpt: The camera is a budget saver... The photos taken is not so good as a 16 mp camera should have. The photos are good as long as they are being displayed in the camera itself, but when i transfer those photos in my lappy it becomes usual as if it is a 8 mp camera. Flashlight works great. but Canon should rather improve the quality of photos they are offering in a 16 mp camera.. At last a good camera for the beginners..
Pros: Easy to Use, Fast Shutter Speed, Good in Low Light, Small / Compact
Summary: this is a brilliant camera the quality of the image even zoomed it to the fullest is still perfect also if the image is moving still takes good pic , its light and small great to travel around with you.has plug in battery charger and last for up to 4 days of using everyday.
Summary: Hi, this is my third camera, second point and shoot. I have remained canon loyal for what i am not sure. The IXES 132 is a compact camera with good outdoor pic quality. Overall experience with the camera is good. Battery life is decent but removing and putting it back in is a issue and need some practice. Recommended.
