Summary: I like the compact size of the camera. I got a small camera bag and can wear it on my belt. I like the quality of the photos and the length of life of the battery. However, It is difficult to learn how to use the camera due to the sparse instructions. It would help to have a diagram with labels for each part of the camera, so that when the instructions name a lever or button to use, it would be possible to easily locate the correct button or lever.

Summary: Got it for my mother since she needed a new camera. She uses it with no problem. Nice color and auto-settings. No problems so far. Takes great pictures - I think my next camera will be a Canon PowerShot ELPH as well.
Summary: This is my second Canon ELPH 100. The first I had about two years and dropped. One does not want to drop a camera. It still worked but the lens didn't move. I tried my friends who has a ELPH 310, and another with a 110, but the 100 does everything I want it to do, is easy to use, and takes superb pictures. I print some pictures on a HP printer and they are great. Others I have developed at a local warehouse store and they are excellent.
Summary: I purchased this camera as a present for my son, along with a great case of the same color. My son is extremely satisfied with the camera and all of the features it has. And of course, the quality of the photos is really good.
Summary: I am really pleased with this little camera, It is very user friendly and takes great pictures in day or night. I have been using Kodaks all my life but always had problems with the Kodaks ability to take night shots, The other night we had a couple of friends over for dinner,as they were leaving we noticed a rare full moon with a huge halo around it.
Summary: Bought this as a gift for my wife. Chose this over other pocket point and shoot cameras because at the time it was the only one with a CMOS sensor instead of the standard CCD sensor. The CMOS sensor is the kind commonly found in DSLR cameras (the big cameras that photographers use). Because of this sensor it easily takes pictures nicer than many 14 and even 16 megapixel cameras. The optical zoom may not be much, but don't worry.
Summary: The camera picture quality is good and so is the ease of use and is very simple. Not many features but decent enough for a travel. Fits well into your pockets. Only problem is the flip flash which is sometimes problematic but we cannot complaint about it.
Summary: Good point and shoot. I bought it after my last Canon was stolen and I have to say, even though that one was about six years old, I think I liked it more. The auto features on this one just don't always work well. They make the lighting look weird.
