Summary: I wanted an easy to use camera that could handle my shaky hands. This did marvelously and really helped me record my recent vacation. The presets were fun for someone lacking professional experience and I really have issues with blurry pictures due to shaky hands. I love this camera!
Summary: I needed a camera ASAP for one of my summer trips and I chose this one. The pictures are AMAZING. It does not have many options for you to take the picture, but indoors and outdoors they look really good. You just need to leave it in automatic and the pictures are very nice. Easy to use and for the price the pictures are good.
Summary: I purchased this camera for my wife and in just a few months, it had a lens error and the lens would not come out and the camera would not function. I returned it to Canon and got a replacement under their warranty, and in less time than the first one...another lens error and a non working camera. I know Canon cameras have a bad reputation for this happening when taken to the beach, but this camera was never used outside.
Summary: Staples had the same camera with SD card for $100 on sale the other week. I should have waited. The speed and quality is excellent. For the $100 range, it's not a bad camera at all. You can see that it is quality for everyday use.
Summary: This is a great camera. Lightweight, compact, beautifully styled, feels great in the hand, you can take it anywhere. The picture quality is very high, and the controls are simple to use. No complaints.
Summary: Very disappointed. This camera has died TWICE (so far) and it's only been 9 months. The first time the camera failed it would not turn on at all. We sent it for warrenty repair and received a refurbished replacement camera THAT WAS NOT THE COLOR OF OUR ORIGINAL, Canon said we didn't have any option on which color they sent. Now, three months later and the replacement camera has just died.

Summary: My family really likes this camera, and we use it quite frequently. We bought it about six months ago and it has held up well. Here are the pros and cons. Pros: Lightweight, fits well in your hand. Button placement makes sense. Instructions and controls are easy to understand. Very clear pictures. Decent battery life. Quick capture - which helps with a fast moving toddler! Nice looking camera, not bulky at all. Cons: Not as many features as others in its line.
Summary: There must be dozens of very positive reviews on this camera - I cannot begin to understand this. In just slightly low light level conditions (i.e. like anywhere indoors, which is 90% of where people use point and shoots) all images are blurred and/or have terrible color. I say this because any other camera at the very same occasion takes *much* better pictures. Rich brown earth becomes gray. Lovely faces become a blur. Except with other cameras.
Summary: I did some research on several digital cameras and finally decided on this one. I've always had Canon cameras as they are the best, and this little jewel made the grade as well. I haven't used it too much but I have found it easy to use and it provides clear images. It was also much less expensive to purchase on Amazon rather than through Best Buy. Kudos to Canon again!
