Canon IXUS 115HS
30 July 2011
Summary: I have always used canon cameras they are a reliable quality product. Have had three previous IXUS models they just get better. The only problem is the fact that the rear screen is flush and so you need to get a screen protector. Good value for money for the quality of the pictures. So handy to carry around.
Summary: I love this little camera. The quality of the hd-video is so good I have stopped using my camcorder as it is perfect for the short 5-10 min videos I take. Sometimes the zoom is a little slow in the recording mode. The extra record button is a great feature where you can suddently start recording. Also there is no sound from the camera when viewing your recorded video but it is perfect when uploaded to your tv/computer.
Pros: Lovely quality pictures, very easy to use.
Cons: No sound from camera when reviewing recorded video
The Canon IXUS 115 HS is a fantastic digital camera.

Excerpt: "I really cannot fault this camera, I have owned many digital camera, usually cheaper brands that are scarcely known. This 12.1 MP camera gives amazingly crystal-clear photographs. I actually own a cheaper brand 12.1 MP camera also, and there really is no comparison in the picture quality! The battery lasts very well, we took this on a weeks holiday, and we had to charge it on the day before we traveled home, though we had taken a lot of photographs! The ...
Pros: Crystal clear picture, high quality components, easy to use & brilliant features
Summary: I bought this camera because I was so fed up with my Olympus X-42, the battery life was disaster and all eyes appeared red. This Canon IXUS 115 HS, is very easy to use, has all the functions, has red eye correction function, battery life is great I have had it for a month and still have not charged the battery yet.It is good size and light. I bought the Grey colour and it is much nicer that it's picture, it's very elegant.
Summary: Bought for a 3 week holiday because my previous camera was unreliable. Not so with this one. I use an 8GB micro SD card and the 600-odd pics & video clips are brilliant. At least they look good so far, not had time to do much editng yet.
Summary: This camera is a very high quality point and shoot, it has some manual options but it really does just work well if you leave it on auto. Despite being a mostly plastic shell, its very rugged and tough, should withstand a few bumps without too much hassle. The only down sides are that the screen is flush on the back, there are no raised edges to protect it so if you lay it down on its back, its the screen that is on the table/floor etc.
