Summary: I tried this camera for only a couple of hours before I put it back in the package and returned it. My only reason for the return was the fixed focus and no zoom-in/out during video recording, which my 2-year-old Canon SD1100 IS could do.
Summary: I previously had a Cannon Elph and LOVED IT! I had taken it to the beach, got sand in the lens and it never worked again.I tried another brand of camera and it couldn't hold a candle to the Elph.
An excellent camera with a wide variety of features

Summary: I'm a mechanic. A small digital camera is almost always on my belt for quick access. I need a need a quick-start camera that's fast, easy-to-use that stores good EXIF information (leaving my iPad and Blackberry out of contention).
Summary: I haven't had a new camera in some time and liked the ease of use and quality of the Canon brand. So i got this thinking it would blow me away, but it was somewhat disappointed. It's a great camera, but some photos were too washed out. The night photos were still blurry.
Summary: I went on my consumer reports website and three canons were recommended for this price range. I called canon and the lady told me that this was the newest generation of the three and even though this camera had a slightly lower mega pixels rating, it would be for that reason that it would be easier...
Summary: This was my first time buying a Canon rather than a Kodak. I love how clear the picture is and how my images look. I have two kids so most of my pictures are of them and they always turn out great. I haven't used the video yet so I cant comment on that. I also love the color it is very cute.
Small Size, Low Noise But Soft Photos, No Digital Zoom in 3:2

Summary: I have the Canon PowerShot A80, A620, and SD800 IS. The photos from the SD800 IS are not as clean as the photos of the older A-model Canons with slightly larger sensors and lower megapixels, but the photos are reasonably sharp and the SD800 IS is more compact than my older A models for everyday...
So many features! The worst part of this camera is the wrist strap.

Summary: This camera is amazing! They have packed so much into this tiny package. My last Canon PS1200 was stolen at Disneyland, otherwise I would've never bought a new one - that was a great camera! But now that I have this one I'm realizing how far Canon has come in just a few short years!
Summary: First, the large LCD screen makes shooting without a viewfinder as easy as it can possibly be (without a viewfinder). The camera shoots quickly for a pocket digital and does a great job of maintaining focus. The resolution on pictures is really good.
