Summary: I haven't had a new camera in some time and liked the ease of use and quality of the Canon brand. So i got this thinking it would blow me away, but it was somewhat disappointed. It's a great camera, but some photos were too washed out. The night photos were still blurry. All these advances don't seem to have made as much of an impact as i was expecting. Other major complaint. THE PRODUCT DESCRIPTION IS WRONG!!!
Summary: I went on my consumer reports website and three canons were recommended for this price range. I called canon and the lady told me that this was the newest generation of the three and even though this camera had a slightly lower mega pixels rating, it would be for that reason that it would be easier to send pictures over the internet. This was the best camera for the price.
So many features! The worst part of this camera is the wrist strap.

Summary: This camera is amazing! They have packed so much into this tiny package. My last Canon PS1200 was stolen at Disneyland, otherwise I would've never bought a new one - that was a great camera! But now that I have this one I'm realizing how far Canon has come in just a few short years! My one and only complaint is the terrible wrist strap! But that's an easy fix.
Summary: The Canon ELPH 100 HS is beautiful, and the Smart Auto feature takes great, no-stress photos for the user who has little or no experience with camera equipment. Before buying the Canon ELPH 100, I read reviews and did a lot of research online to find a point-and-shoot camera that I would enjoy within the under-$200 price range. There are a lot of good products from which to choose.
Summary: WOW!!! USED MY CANNON THIS WEEKEND AND THE PICTURES WERE "AWESOME." I'VE TWO(2) CANONS, POWER SHOT G11 AND A GREAT "RELIABLE" Z155 FILM CAMERA. I WANTED A SMALLER DIGITAL POCKET CAMERA, WHERE THE FLASH WAS A "BANG." THE EASE OF USAGE FOR THE ELPH IS VERY EASY, SOMEWHAT SIMILAR TO MY OTHER TWO. I'VE YET TO USE THE MOVIE MODE, ON ON THIS "COMPACT BABY." I'M NOT GOING TO PUT TO MUCH EMPHASIS ON THE MOVIE MODE; SINCE I'VE THE POWER SHOT G11, WHICH TAKES GOOD MOVIES.
Summary: Camera is perfect for those who do not want to fuss with any settings. Takes great pictures in low light or bright sunny days. 1080p video is nice but not great. The avi videos are too large I wish they had some sort of compressions. Over all very happy with this lightweight huge screen camera.
Summary: I bought the PowerShot ELPH 100 camera hoping to get good photos and videos of our just completed trip to the West Coast and was not disappointed. I just went through the almost 800 photos and 40 something short video clips on my 8 GB SDHC card. Almost all of them taken on steady ground are excellent, videos of the crashing waves and rushing rivers will provide an occasional fix for this Midwestern resident....many of the stills look professional.
Summary: Very nice little camera, easy to use and takes beautiful photos. Small enough to carry at any time...and during traveling... fits easily into your pocket. I would recommend this camera to anyone who's looking to buy a point & shoot camera at moderate price.
Excerpt: I purchased one of these little numbers to replace a Panasonic TZ-6 which I considered very overrated, and is intended to compliment my DSLR. I was immediately impressed by the small size, and classy looks. I have owned Canon IXUS compacts before, so I found operating the camera very intuitive. I have found image quality to be good, noise control particularly is very good.
