Great Little Camera

Summary: This is a great camera. I had a Canon 6 MP and wanted to update to a 12 MP or higher and I wanted to stay with the Canon brand so I checked out what they had. This little camera just stood out for me. The first thing that attracted me was the color, but that aside, it does great in low light, just like it says and you can choose to shoot totally automatic or switch it over to manual and either choose one of the preset shooting modes or just adjust your own settings.
Summary: The Canon PowerShot Elph 100 is a great camera with a lot of awesome features. It has a big screen, it is easy to use, the picture quality is really good, it is slim and easily fits in your pocket. It is very reasonably priced and you won't be disappointed.
Excellent videos and outdoor shots, indoors not so great

Summary: I really liked this camera at first. Videos are awesome, as well as outdoor shots. Now that I've tried all weekend to get a decent indoor shot, the love has gone. I will give it another chance in the coming week, but probably will return it. And it's not like I'm an inexperienced photographer--true I'm not a professional but I know enough about cameras and how to use them.
want it to be easier to use and faster to focus. pictures not great.

Summary: I bought this to replace my Panasonic DMC-FX3S 6MP Digital Camera with 3x Optical Image Stabilized Zoom (Silver) , which developed spots in the lens. This Canon model is compact and cute. The color is nice. But compared to the Panasonic model, ease of use is not as good and quality of pictures is disappointing. The main things I'm disappointed with: 1) erasing a bad picture requires too many button presses. On the Panasonic, there's one button to "trash" the picture.
Summary: I have been reading all those 1-star reviews where people kept saying something like "ohmygod, camera's bad, camera broke, pictures are bad, lens are awful, do not buy this" etc. What can I recommend those people is to throw out their hands, not camera. Why? My co-worker bought this camera two weeks ago at BestBuy without reading any reviews or characteristics. What we needed was an everyday simple smart camera for taking photos of delivered cars.
Summary: This is a great point and shoot camera, and it is purely a point and shoot camera. Photos are consistently good, saturated, and accurate. It fits easily in any pocket. While this is a camera, I also found the movie mode great if your trying to catch movies here and there, like a birthday party, etc. If zoom is important to you in movie mode, please note that it does have zoom, but it's digital zoom--not optical.
Summary: I had the Nikon s3100 and I lost it...., and you know what ? I'm GLAD I did. I just got this from Best Buy and there is NO WAY you can compare it to the Nikon camera. The low light settings is incredible, and it also takes very clear shots. I say for people who are contemplating to get it, GET IT NOW ! Its on sale and I'm pretty sure it ends today. Regular price its 179.99 but its worth it ! I got it in pink, the color is BEAUTIFUL !
