Summary: I honestly haven't even tried most of its features and I'm sure it can do a whole lot more than what I'm using it for, but so far great pictures and pretty user friendly. It might even be too high tech for me which is why I gave it 4 stars, but for most ppl that's a good thing. The size and weight are perfect for bringing it on the go.
Summary: We took this as our only camera on a 3 week trip to Indonesia. The anti-shake capabilities are amazing--I was able to take crisp photos at night at full zoom. The automatic mode works well, and I used several of the program modes for special situations. The only issue we had is that the camera really drains the battery.
Summary: I read the small booklet that comes with the camera but I still haven't mastered it yet. Suggest that you play with it for a good while before taking serious photos. The large screen is nice. The touch screen is not all that user friendly and is a little slow to respond to touch.
Great with light, struggles in the dark. Nice HD video.

Summary: Great for outdoors and HD video and well-lit indoor shots. Slow to auto-focus and blurry/grainy in low light. Nice set of presets/effects. Wish the super-slo-mo recording setting had higher resolution. Macro/zoom seems to require a long distance to the subject, but the 4000x3000 resolution allows for some cropping afterward.
