Summary: Turning-off the auto rotate does nothing, it is defective right out of the box. I don't have time to rotate each photo when I'm working fast! I bought this for Ebay listing. Auto rotate is my living nightmare! I will never understand why these new cameras do this...even when all my subjects are the same size and I'm always shooting horizontal. Really? You're going to rotate this one clockwise and this next one counter clockwise, totally at random for no reason?
Summary: Before I bought this Canon camera, I owned Sony and Olympus and was very happy with. I heard so much good things about Canon and I bought this ELPH510 just to found out the most unfriendly and frustrating camera. I have never succeeded to really used correctly and I have it for over a year.
Summary: Capture all your special moments with this camera and cherish the memories over and over again. Super image processor, this camera lets you take smooth, detailed, and high-quality images. The monitor on this Canon makes it easy to view photos, read menu, and compose shots. With a high ISO sensitivity.
Summary: I find the software overly complicated and unless I use it very frequently have to go back to the manual for a review. The zoom is quite adequate and the photos excellent. The touch screen is not difficult to use. The reason I bought it is for it's size, weight, price and telephoto lens. Overall, it's a good camera.

Summary: I bought this camera because I am on a budget and the price was right. I had to replace my Lumix, which I loved but this got good ratings and was a better price. I have not gotten a good picture of my 2 year old son with it yet and it has been a year. Every single one has closed eyes or is blurry. I read the manual a million times, changed the setting to "kids and pets" to no avail. I am not tech saavy and just wanted a camera that is easy to use.
