great digital camera

Summary: My husband has SDR camera so I was looking for a small but intelligent camera then I bought this camera. It was perfect for me. Small, light, durable, easy to use, good quality picture and video. I recomment it.
Summary: Sometimes your DSLR is too bulky to be carrying around in certain situations. That is why I decided to buy this camera - for its portability and size. I hate it when at concert shows they deny my DSLR or when I am out and about with friends and you do not want to carry the DSLR.
Summary: You really can't beat the size of this series of Canon snapshot cameras. It fits in your pocket without weighing you down or bulging, which makes it great to take to parties or a night on the town. I've had older generations, and am just as satisfied with this one.
Just when you think they can't make it any smaller!

Summary: I bought this camera (SD780IS) because my son broke my SD600. When I got the SD780 IS, I was amazed that this camera is even smaller or I should say thinner than my SD600. SD780 is about 20% thinner than SD600. However, SD600 feels sturdier than the SD780 IS.
Summary: I purchased this model because it was the only pocket camera I could find with an optical viewfinder. It has surpassed my expectations. See the two attached pictures. I wish the film strips could be generated in AVI files, but I can live with the MOV filetype.
Good Camera With Flaws!! Not Youtube HD Friendly!!

Summary: I really love this camera, when they say its "small", they're not joking! The modes set with the camera are somewhat easy, you need to play with it for a while to get the hang of it. You can record and take phots in black and white, vivid, etc. which is really cool.
Summary: great little camera!! i have had a cannon in the past and love their products. however i did notice this camera does not take sound in the movie part. pictures come out clear beautiful and amazing! dont forget to push halfway down to focus.
Summary: I have a nice SLR camera that I love, but it can be cumbersome sometimes. I wanted to get a small point and shoot camera that I could use in situations where it just wasn't practical to take a large camera. I tried a Kodak, Nikon Coolpix and another Canon model before trying this one and loving it.
Summary: All in all it's a great small point and shoot camera, but there's one fairly serious issue. Audible noise in all the video recordings, the camera itself makes a buzzing noise that gets picked up on the microphone.
Summary: I have only had this camera for a month, but I love it. Small enough to fit in your pocket.Has a large screen to view your pictures. easy to load onto your computer and works good with windows. Has alot of options. so many so you really need to read the manual.
