Excerpt: I am a photo lover and I love to take a lot of pictures of many good scenes. For example I love to take a lot of pictures of my cute little child who is 6 years old and whenever he gives a great smile or whenever he …
Summary: As a rookie digital camera user, I have really enjoyed using this camera. It is easy to use and I like the fact that it has video also. It takes great pictures. My only complaint is that it is a little small for large hands (husband).
Excerpt: I've used this camera for over 2-years and like it for its portability. This thing is really small and easy to use. The image quality is good, but not great. Movie mode is good for shooting 720p HD movies which is what I use this for a lot of time. It's very convenient to shoot video of kids at home. Doesn't have a lot of zoom, but is adequate for indoor pictures. One downside is the optical zoom does not work when shooting video.
Canon PowerShot SD780IS 12.1 MP Digital Camera-Love it

Summary: My wife wanted a good small camera with a view finder. This fit the bill and she is very happy with the photo quality and ease of handling. There is a slight learning curve moving around all the menus, but it is mostly intuitive. All of our cameras use SD cards, nothing proprietary and the battery charges quickly. I am also very happy with the ease of purchase at Amazon-one click.

Summary: This camera is slim and takes a great picture. However, it seems to drain batteries if you leave the battery in the camera. We thought the battery was bad. So, we ordered another battery. The same thing happens. So, we have to constantly remove the battery when the camera is not in use. We now have two batteries, which helps if we find ourselves with a dead one.
