Conclusion: For manual video it's a great Camera when it comes to using it for photography the camera has a high failure rate. Images come out very soft!! I own the 70-200 2.8 L &16-35 2.8 L and I have used them on my prior canon body's with zero issues, I have tried applying the micro adjustments but I'm still not happy. It's a hit and miss on the focus.
Pros: good battery life, Nice features/settings, Quick Start-up time, Superior build quality, Bright LCD, Simple controls/menu, easy to use
Excerpt: This camera sensor just takes very poor images. Lots of online reviews / comments about how poor the image is and even worst about ISO 400 or so. Images are very grainy, over and under exposed, really have to tweat the camera settings just to get an average file. But it does focus well and fast, that is it only strength.
Pros: Fast / Accurate Auto-Focus, Fast Shutter Speed
Cons: Noisy At High ISO, Poor Image Quality, Poor Image Stabilization, Poor In Low Light
Conclusion: I have owned a Canon EOS 650, a EOS 20D, and now a EOS 7D. I was very satisfied with the first two Canons, but I am not very happy with the picture quality of the 7D. I rarely get a good quality action picture of my son playing soccer. I have the 100 - 400mm L lens and have also tried to get a better quality picture with my 75 - 300mm lens. The quality just is not there. I believe my 20D shoots a higher quality, as in in focus, sharper picture then my EOS 7D.
Pros: good battery life, Nice features/settings, Superior build quality, Bright LCD, Solid Operation, Simple controls/menu
Cons: Poor image quality, image quality terrible, action image no good
Summary: I bought this package expecting it to be good value, if not excellent. Total disappointment The only thing worth keeping in this package is the camera body itself. Rest seems to be just CHEAP fillers to make it a big package. I wish I would have just bought the body and then I could have bought rest of the stuff on my own. Still would have been able to manage in the same price, if not better. With better products. The 2 stars are just for the camera body.
Excerpt: Very poor metering (pics are under exposed), focus issues when focusing on small objects (birds, macro). I do get some great shots, but also a lot of poor ones. Also, the noise level is very high - even at an iso of 400 there is too much noise for a camera at this level!! I still have my old 10-D that can take better pics, and it's over ten years old!
Pros: Easy To Use, Fast Shutter Speed, Large Clear LCD
Cons: Noisy At High ISO, Poor Image Quality, Poor In Low Light
Conclusion: PLEASE CANON.... PLEASE... JUST WRITE THE CODE AND GIVE US AUDIO CONTROL! HOW HARD CAN IT BE? YOU HAVE IT ON ALL YOUR OTHER CAMERAS! PEOPLE PLEASE HELP ME AND BEG THEM FOR THIS! I AM ON MY KNEES RIGHT NOW TYPING THIS PRAYING TO THE CANON GODS TO PLEASE GIVE US A FIRMWARE UPDATE WITH THE AUDIO FIX! PLEASE CANON IM BEGGING YOU! Cons: no manual audio controls, all the cheaper cameras have audio control
Summary: I bought this camera in march and i like the camera, but i don't like the other staff such as the bag and every thing that come with the purchase. Also, all the items has a very low quality. However, for me it was a good thing because i am a beginner and i need to use every thing to know wither i need to buy the original one or not. Notice That The Memory Cared In The description is 16GB, but it was not 16GB it was 8GB with the label of 16GB.
