Excerpt: I've recently upgraded to Canon EOS 700D and indeed so far I'm very happy with it. However it confuses me why it wouldn't auto-focus my old Sigma 10-20mm and Sigma 18-200mm lenses neither in still nor in movie mode unlike my very old 350D did.
Summary: I bought this camera package to take on a vacation to Mazatlan. Every time I brought the camera out of the air conditioned room out into the 85* weather, the lens would fog. Not just the external lens, but internal lenses and body-side lens also. After waiting 30 minutes for fog to evaporate, the sunset was long gone. I also tried the camera body with my older, Canon AF lenses at home and they were incompatible.
Summary: I bought this camera as an upgrade for my 600d. There are some nice new features and overall I'd say it was a worthy purchase. The issue I had was it took 3 replacements to find a body that didn't have dead or stuck pixels. It would seem that pixel issues is endemic with digital slr cameras. But 2 of the 3 cameras I received had clusters of bad pixels. Amazon was excellent as usual but canon had little help to offer.
