  • Excerpt: I own a Canon 600D camera, but I had the need to go up one more level and to have at last a full frame camera. I adapt well to change, management does not vary much as to the 600D, a few points to note is that to switch between shooting modes have to press the middle button to turn the knob, the...

  • Excerpt: I purchased the 6D two years ago. The main purpose of me purchasing it was to use the Wi-Fi built into the camera. It was not easy setting up the Wi-Fi. I had to call Canon for assistance because the directions where not sufficient. The Canon tech confirmed this.
  • Pros: Fast / Accurate Auto-Focus, Good Image Quality, High ISO Performance, Large Clear LCD, Quiet
  • Cons: No built in flash, No Joystick, Too Few Focusing Points

  • Excerpt: Awesome camera. If you are upgrading from a cropped sensor, I dont see a need to buy the more expensive 5dm3. The lack of multiple cross type focus points is not at all a problem practically. I thought of buying the 5dm3 and glad that I saved some money there.

  • Summary: AS PICTURE DEPICTS, it is not EF 24-105mm f/4 L lens. It is cheaper f/3.5-5.6 STM Lens. I can buy this if it is EF 24-105mm f/4 L lens.

  • Excerpt: I finally got the reduced noise, and better focus I needed for sports. This may be a surprise from those reading some of the other reviews, but that single center focus point is much more precise than my 40D.
  • Pros: Easy To Use, Fast / Accurate Auto-Focus, Good Image Quality, High ISO Performance, Large Clear LCD
  • Cons: Low Max Flash Sync Speed, Low Maximum Shutter Speed

Great upgrade from canon 60D

Beth Adams, B&H Photo
27 March 2015
  • Excerpt: I mainly take product shots for my business and photos of my baby - My canon 60D did the job well but I always longed for a full frame professional camera. I did a lot of research and the 6D seemed to fit my needs and budget the best. So far - I am thrilled with it !
