If you've never used an DSLR before - get this one.

Summary: To be honest, I'm not a camera expert by any stretch of the imagination. I haven't used an SLR type camera since highschool art class, and that was over 10 years ago. Needless to say, I decided that it was time to make the plunge and get a digital SLR so that I could take some nice pictures and do some video recording. My initial impressions are that the camera feels good. It's very ergonomic, and my hand molds right into it very comfortably.
Summary: I am a college student who is taking a double major in Journalism and Studio Production. I have a 3.8 GPA, PTK,ISLP,MENSA, and always make the deans list. I use the DSLR cameras for both video and still photography. This is my second Canon T4i as I wanted a matched set for a video project I am working on this year for an internship. The T4i, 650D is a great camera for video and still photography on a budget.
Summary: This is my first new DSLR since the D20... I left the DSLR family for the world of point & shoots. I came back for it's ability to do high quality video. I am so far pleased with the results, of course I am not using the built in mic, because it stinks. I originally went for the t3i, then learned about the t5i, and not until after doing research did I realize there was a t4i.
