Summary: I mostly wanted a camera that could snap photos continuously, unlike my old camera, which was re-acting more and more slowly. This does a great job of that AS LONG AS YOU ARE NOT USING THE FLASH OR LIVE VIEW. Switch either one of those on and it takes six or more seconds, and sometimes even seems to be confused when you hear it trying trying trying to focus in and settle on a focus. NOT GOOD! Especially for the price! My old $250 camera was better than this with a flash.
Good camera WISH I can say the same for 70-300 mm lens

Summary: Bought it just before my trip to Florida. Very happy with the camera however not so happy with the 70-300 mm lens I received with it. Go for 55-250 mm lens instead it's better than the 70-300 mm lens for many reasons. For starters it has IS which makes a whole lot difference. Also what I always noticed was I had to keep switching lens every time I decided to take pictures of anything in close proximity to me.
Summary: Notice that the zoom lens in this bundle is NOT an image stabilizing lens. If you are okay with that, then you may like the bundle. I returned for another seller that provided an image stabilizing zoom lens.
Summary: I wish it came with instructions. I'm a beginner and have had this camera for over a year. It didn't come with any written instructions on how to use it. I guess they just thought everyone would know. youtube has good video's on how to use it, so I am watching those. Takes very nice pictures. But I am still confused with all the stuff.
Excerpt: I like the camera its got tons of features and the price is a great deal for a person starting out, but If you had the money and could go another 500 the canon 7d would be worth looking at in my opinion. I shoot everything from bugs to stars and everything in between. Great starter but that's it my next camera will be a canon 6D .
Summary: A little disappointed with this entry level digital camera. In auto shooting modes upclose, had a hard time focusing somex's. also, overexposed outdoor scenes containing both light & shadows. A little noisey of shutter & focus & beeps. Slowest of the 3 in continuous frame shooting mode. Articulated LCD is interesting......good price.
Pros: great kit camera bag strap & 2 lenses articulated lcd for above your head shots lots of after market lenses available. good color
Cons: on/off button in inconvient place. camera & lenses were kind of noisy auto-focusing sometimes had a problem focusing overexposed in some outdoor shots in auto modes
