Doesn't seem like something that should happen to such an expensive camera ...

Summary: I've had it for only a few weeks and the video is already messing up. It will only shoot videos for 16 seconds at a time then cut off. Also the flash is slow. Half the pics I take in the dark are black because the flash doesn't go fast enough. AND it will not let me take pics when I have it in screen mode. Doesn't seem like something that should happen to such an expensive camera especially with it being brand new. Very Dissapointed.
Summary: The camera box was not sealed and it looked like it had been opened several times before. The lenses were not sealed either.. I wonder why. The tripod head was broken... can not use it. Not happy, but I am not gonna return it because I don't want to go trough this again. The camera works and the lenses are ok.
Summary: The camera itself is great. But the accessories are all very cheap. You end up being about $100 more for these accessories and they are really not worth it. The wide angle lens and the daily photo lens are all just Lens adapters. The image gets fuzzy on the sides. We thought we would get Vivitar lens adapters as the other reviewers were saying, but we got really tacky Xit lenses. They are available for $10 on Amazon!
Excerpt: I really wanted to like this camera, but there are a few really bad issues with it that spoil it. 1. Af is not accurate with faster glass - everything under 2.8 is a hit and miss with this camera, even in perfect light and center point at the eye of the model, it can misfocus pretty easily. Other people I know had the same issues. 2. The grip has started to turn white after just 6 months. That's really bad... 3. The battery life is just terrible.
Summary: I'm a little bit skeptical about the quality of the camera or if its really new. however when i tried both lenses and the camera itself, they worked like a charm, very happy with them. however, the bag looked like it had been dropped in a puddle of mud then stored without drying in a moldy basement inside of its bag. it has stains of what it seems to be mud or it might be mold all over it, and it smells like very strong mold.
Summary: i decided that nikon or pentax was the way to go since cannon gives such poor parts support after the warrantee is done. the nikon has many features that remind me of the old film slr days and yet it also encompasses the newer digital era technology as well. and the pentax k mount alows use of the older lenses (yes with a bit of error since non dig.) the only neg thought on the nikon i can see so far is i'd prefer a shutter speed number dial instead of symbols.
Summary: I am writing this review here because I can get NO response from Amazon on my purchase from them, in conjunction with Beach Camera. I have sent 2 emails directly to Amazon specifically about this purchase with no answers whatsoever. I did not receive all the merchandise that was part of this bundle I paid for.
Summary: The Macro and 2.5x extender: the threads on the caps aren't exactly right. It takes a while to work to get the caps back on so that the threads aren't ruined. The 2.5x telephoto extender only works on the lower zoom lens NOT the telephoto which is where I would like to use it. The Macro is good but not great. That being said, it is probably my inexperience, not the lens.
Summary: The camera is Awesome but the "super bundle" is poor. Beach Camera did not send me all of the items that were shown in the picture. (card reader, remote, SD card wallet, etc.) I emailed them and explained that I was missing a number of items. They quickly sent me a few items that were missing along with a broken tripod. I tried contacting them once again about the broken tripod but have not heard back from them. Which was almost a month ago.
Conclusion: This camera worked wonderfully, taking great pictures and outstanding video, until it broke after 8 uses. Quality of the product is below par, having lasted less than 5 months (400 -600 pictures) Battery life is a little poor, when shooting video, but a spare battery will overcome this shortfall and is a great accessory.
Pros: Nice features/settings, excellent image quality, Simple controls/menu, easy to use
