Summary: The is a pretty good deal for a beginner set. Most of the stuff in the kit (besides the camera and original lens) are pretty cheap, but are good to get started with, considering you can get all of the stuff with the camera for the same price as just the camera at Best Buy. I purchased this camera for the flip out screen so I could record High-Def video of myself for youtube tutorials. The picture and video quality is excellent.
Summary: It's been a about two weeks since I got this in the mail. It's relatively inexpensive compared to some other bundles. It was a pain the ass to finally receive the package, but everything that that was advertised was there. In my opinion, the only fault is the camera bag. Summary: Just got mine last week, and I'm in love!!! Excerpt: Wonderful lens for when you don't want to buy several different ones for financial or bulk purposes. It takes great, crisp portraits, but is also really good with landscapes. So for vacation photography, this one's ideal. Not much use with zoom, but that is not a problem for me personally.
Pros: Easy To Use, Fast / Accurate Auto-Focus, Good Image Quality
Summary: As this is my first DSLR, I absolutely wish I had purchased a long time ago. I can not believe the pictures it takes (and HD video). The kit had everything I was looking for, all bundled into one easy to buy kit. I would definitely buy again!
