Summary: I was very happy with my first digital SLR. I have been snapping photos every day with my XT. Today, at my daughter's birthday party, no less, the camera died without warning. I took a few shots, turned it off as carefully as ever, and set it on the table.
Summary: The product I recieved wasn't what was on the website. I recieved a torn equipment bag, the camera is scratched and I was supposed to receive cd to store the pictures, I didn't get that either. My daughter was very upset and disappointed.
Summary: There's a reason Canon updated this to the new version - this is horrible! The controls are NOT intuitive, the ability to do simple things (like turn off the flash) are so archaically done that we only take this out if it's an outside shot or every other camera and smart phone is gone.
Summary: I normally don't write a bad review unless the product really warrants it. In this case, the product truly did disappoint me. The bag is too small and annoyingly tight. The camera fits with the lens facing upwards, but that's pretty much it. No more room for anything else.
Summary: Canon Ixus is excellent, but the 350D gives very bland results. I discovered from forums it is due to the cheap CMOS sensor, unlike the better CCD sensors. I would have given it away, currently looking at Nikon D80.
