Summary: This is much heavier that my 5Dii but it is much easier for me to focus onto the moving subject. Picture is clear and less noise, with the difference more obvious at low light. I got the camera from "Get it Digital", which provided me with a good sale service and great price.
Conclusion: I wanted this camera since if was introduced to the consumer world. I fought with myself over the price for a long time. I downloaded the manual and read it prior to buying the camera. It takes a lot to get use, sometimes overwhelming. I do 90% action sports photography. This camera is absolutely unbelievable to put it mildly. I just finished shooting an AMA Pro flat-track motorcycle race where the bikes reached speeds in excess of 137 mph.
Pros: good battery life, Nice features/settings, Quick Start-up time, excellent image quality, Superior build quality, Bright LCD, Solid Operation, easy to use
Conclusion: I just purchased my new EOS 1D X and photographed some high ISO images with and without a flash. I was amazed at the fact the noise was just not to a level that ruined the image. I shot with a ISO setting of 51200. I am very impressed with my new EOS 1D X. If you want to be the best then you need the best!! The Cajun.
Pros: Quick Start-up time, excellent image quality, Superior build quality, Bright LCD, high iso image quality
Conclusion: As a Wedding Photographer, I depend on the Best Camera and Glass Possible. With the Canon EOS-1DX Body, now I can shoot the photographs that I always envision with much ease and comfort. To much Amazement, the 1DX seems understand exactly how I feel on any challenging assignment. This camera allows me to Perform and Be at my Best in Every Single Moment, for example while shooting Weddings.
Pros: good battery life, excellent image quality, Superior build quality, Bright LCD, Solid Operation, Lightweight/Portable
Conclusion: i am in awe about the 1dx camera. it is the best camera by far i have ever used. i had previously been a user of the alternate brand but this camera totally blows me away. the focus image quality ease of use layout of the controls and low light capability are wonderful. when i use the camera with a great telephoto lens the canon 300mm 2.8 the images cannot be believed. i thank canon for giving us this wonderful camera.
Pros: good battery life, quiet, Nice features/settings, Quick Start-up time, excellent image quality, Superior build quality, Bright LCD, Solid Operation, Simple controls/menu, easy to use
Summary: There is a lot to love and very little or nothing to criticize about this camera. I've owned it since it was introduced and cannot think of a single real complaint. Size and weight and price maybe. But there are good reasons for all of those. Speed, accuracy, durability, flexibility, performance amongst them.
Pros: Superlative in all respects. 12 fps (with optional 14fps jpeg mirror up), highly adaptive/customizable AF system that works nearly perfectly, bomb proof construction plus excellent high ISO performance.
Conclusion: I bought new dslr for my wife that she wanted and waited almost a year to get my own camera. Now I own the best, It's so amazing! This thing helps so much in making a great shot that it's almost effortless. Go on get the best its worth it!
Conclusion: When in doubt, I always pull this camera out! It does the job really well! Executed everything I demand it do to! I went with this camera mainly for its low-light performance and the ability to focus anything my eye wants to focus. I'll make this review short. This camera made my life a whole lot easier! It's any professional photographer's dream. Heck, it made my dream come true! Thanks Canon!
Pros: speed, ultra fast autofocus, image quality, build quality, flexibility, low-light performance, low noise at very high iso, don't need fast primes, weather sealed
