Summary: I have had a Rebel for 4 years. I used it for school and then for my job. I snap anywhere form 50 to 300 photos everyday. My Rebel finally just went kaput. Thats ok. I bought this refurbished one for 100.00 which is 400.00 less than buying a brand new one.

The camera itself is great - image quality is good, the sensor works fine -- the uptick in image quality between the smaller...
Summary: This is a nice camera when it works. Two issues to be aware of. We bought it on the basis that we already had a film EOS with Canon-compatible lenses (Sigma) and we had been assured that the lenses should be fully interchangeable. Well, they are not.
Summary: This is a great budget digital camera-when I eventually got it to work properly. It twice needed to be sent back to the manufacturers well within the guarantee period. However it has a fine spec and takes excellent pictures.
Summary: Canon EOS 1000D is my second DSLR after the Nikon 90D. I purchased it after months of searching and reading reviews. I mostly used it with the EF-S 18-55mm (non IS) lens. It's a good entry level DSLR however, as I am an aspiring photographer, I quickly started to notice 2 very big downsides which I...
