Summary: I've gone through many Canons (trying to find the right one), SD880, SD780, S90, SX200, and SX210. I currently have a Sony DSLR Alpha 330 and a Canon SX210IS and Canon SD970. The 970 has a lot of great features but one of its most disappointing is it's indoor/lowlight photos. We went to a waterpark the other day and all areas that have shadows are extremely underexposed.
Summary: i like battey hold long time and clear picture and good dising light and the hd movie is clear and clear creaan realy i like this cameraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
Summary: I just bought this Canon PowerShot SD970 to replace my Powershot SD750 which was stolen from my backpack at a Steeler football game. I LOVED my SD750 but also love this new one. The SD750 was much lighter in weight and less bulky which I liked very much. However, I think this SD970 has more advanced features. I like the larger button to review the pictures and, of course, the 3" LCD screen which I was used to with my SD750. Overall, I like this camera very much.
Summary: ABOUT THE SAME SIZE AND WEIGHT AS THE CANON SD790, SD880. A TAD SMALLER THAN THE CANON A 2100 BUT ABOUT THE SAME WEIGHT. HAS A VERY HIGH END LCD. I AM DOWN LOADING 2 LOW LIGHT PICTURES TAKEN OUT DOORS NO PORCH LIGHT IN AUTO MODE ISO WAS 400 AND 500 .A FULL FLASH TAKES 3.5 secs TO 7secs BEFORE YOU CAN TAKE ANOTHER PICTURE, MOSTLY 3 TO 4 secs AVERAGE. THE PICTURES SEEM VERY SHARP IN GOOD LIGHT 80 THU 200 ISO.THIS IS A VERY NICE CAMERA.
Pros: Bright LCD, Comfortable Controls, Easy To Use, Great Picture Quality, Strong Construction, Very good battery life
