"Poor Warranty fulfillment"

Pros: Great pictures, beautiful design, titanium
Cons: Unable to repair my 11 month old, "in warranty" camera. Technician suggested that living in Florida could be the reason with its high ambient humidity! Final determination: water damage; no repair, no further explanation and no replacement.
Summary: This camera produced disappointing images. They were unsharp (with or without image stabilization turned on), the colors were inaccurate, and despite efforts to improve things in Photoshop, the pictures remained crappy. At first I thought it was due to the fact that is a tiny camera with a tiny sensor (I was used to using DSLRs). But then the camera was stolen (a fortunate event!
Pros: Wide angle capability is very useful
Cons: General poor picture quality., Controls and menu system were IMO counterintuitive
Summary: I am very disappointed with this camera. About 10% of the pictures I took are blurry, it seems to me that the camera is unable to focus. I just bought it because I read very good reviews, maybe I was unlucky with this unit.
Summary: My 4 year old Casio took better low light photos than this camera. Other photos turned out good or even great but when compared in close up the result was less impressive. I took photos with "normal" file size quality on both cameras (Canon & Casio). The Canon photos were twice as big with only overall 20% photo improvement.
Summary: My dissatisfaction with the Canon SD880IS all stem from really missing my old Fujifilm F30. That good old camera has the best lens/CCD of any point-n-shoot that I've ever seen. Even ISO1600 photos were usable. Everything was low noise. But [*] the two F30's that I've owned all crashed way before reaching 2 full years of use.
Pros: Bright LCD, Comfortable Controls, Easy Setup, Easy to Keep Clean, Easy To Use, Strong Construction
Cons: Grainy, Noise, Poor Operation in Low Light, Weak Flash
Summary: The Canon IXUS 870 IS is a compact point and shoot camera with a range of special features for those wishing to try out some more creative effects. It has a solid, by current standards somewhat chunky build, and an extendable 4x optical zoom built in lens. We have had this camera for about 3 years now and it is still working really well and looks only a tiny bit worse for wear.
Pros: Has some neat features, relatively compact, has lasted well.
Cons: Photo quality isn't great, features are unnecessary, not as slim/cheap as other low budget cameras.

Summary: My poor Ixus 950IS was close to dying and I was on my way to South Africa.. so I brought the Ixus 870IS at the last minute. Camera looks smart and has a fab 3 inch screen.. However, picture quality the MAJORITY of the time was poor despite trying various settings (I'm not particularly a novice in photography!). I resorted using my battered Ixus 950IS for the last part of the holiday which provided me with much better image quality.
