Excerpt: I really agonized over what kind of digital camera to buy. With a budget of $150.00, I knew that getting a compact digital camera was going to be my best bet. I actually bought the Canon Powershot SD770 from Amazon.com at a steal! This is 10 mega-pixels, the Canon Powershot 750 was 8 mega-pixels, yet due to a promotion at the time, they cost the same price! So there was no contest, I chose the higher pixels. I like that the camera is slim and yet full of features.
Power Shot SD770 is compact and produces great quality pictures.

Excerpt: This was a gift from my son. I have taken photography classes in the past and have entered several of my photos in contests. I used to use an SLR camera, but since the digitals have come on the market that produce some nice quality photos, I thought I would give them a try. At first I purchased an HP digital camera and then tried out a Kodak camera, but the Canon SD770 that my son bought me is much more compact and takes excellent pics. I love that I can stick it...
Excerpt: The PowerShot SD770 is a good camera for what it is meant to be. If you are looking for something to take with you lots of places or just be able to take out quickly to get shots, it will do what you need. The image quality is not professional but it is good for this type of camera. The same can be said about the movie mode, though that is a little on the lower end of the quality spectrum than the photos.
Excerpt: That said, it did not take too long to charge (about an hour or so), so I guess the message is that you should make sure that you can charge it at the end of each day of use! Overall I think that this is a good little camera and definitely great value for the money. I think that it will really suit somebody who wants a very small camera to use on the move or a camera that will tuck into a very small bag my baby sister would love it! 8 out of 10.
Excerpt: This digital camera is powered by DIGIC III processor with face detection technology. With its motion detection technology, it will reduces blur on captured images. So this digital camera is very compact for capturing moving objects. This digital camera also has advanced red-eye correction, and support high ISO for low-light shooting. I think this digital camera shape is slim enough with those great performance and technologies.
Summary: Small and easy to use digital camera. Good for holiday pics. Cool digital macro feature. The only thing not so cool is the imaging software that is required for transfering the pics to a computer. The software is slow. I would prefer just plugging it in like a portable harddrive and browser the images like files.
Pros: Easy Setup, Easy To Use, Great Picture Quality
Summary: This camera was just the upgrade I needed. I had been using an old digital point and shoot with horrible lag time, but this camera has almost no lag time and takes geat pictures, quick. I would recommend it for anyone needing a basic point and shoot, that has some great features and you don't have to break the piggy bank.
Pros: Bright LCD, Comfortable Controls, Easy Setup, Easy to Keep Clean, Easy To Use, Great Picture Quality, Strong Construction
Summary: Handy camera to carry around in my purse or even in my pocket at all times. Good for point and shoot situations. My main camera is a BIG DSLR (canon 20D)which isn't practical to carry everywhere. This canon elph gives me the opportunity to capture pictures I would've missed because I didn't want to haul my large camera. Lag time between pictures is obviously much slower than I'm use to with my DSLR.
Pros: Bright LCD, Easy Setup, Easy to Keep Clean, Easy To Use, Great Picture Quality, Strong Construction
