Very Poor

G. Collins, Amazon
13 August 2007
  • Summary: The shutter lag (time from pressing the button to taking the photo) is so long as to make the camera unusable. Batteries last no time, and even appear only half-full when new! Images are often blurred and out of focus. DON'T BUY THIS CAMERA!!

Not a good camera!

Helen Raftery, Amazon
5 November 2006
  • Summary: I thought this camera was bad, to say the least. It eats batteries, they do not last over 10 shots. It takes a good few seconds to actually capture an image, so I am forever asking people to hold for about 7 seconds while the picture takes!! I would not recommend this camera to anyone.

Brilliant!

Ms. Emily Jr Maiden "Em", Amazon

  • Summary: I decided to buy this camera because of the price and the optical and digital zoom features. I am very pleased with my purchase, the photos are of very high quality, and the camera is very simple to use and connect to a PC. The video function is good too, even though you can only view them with sound outwith the camera itself (on a PC or Tv). I'd definatley recommend buying this camera if you want good quality photos at a reasonable price.

My first time!

Estelle May, Amazon
5 October 2006
  • Summary: I finally relented and entered the digital age by buying this little camera. I only have friend's cameras to compare to but I am completely satisfied with this one. Primarily, with the ease of use - I was printing my first picture within a couple of hours, also the ability to put the pictures on a TV was helpful. It was supplied with a case, re-chargeable batteries and a charger - all of which, I feel, makes it great value.

Cheap but is it worth it?

IzzyS, Ciao

  • Excerpt: I bought this at what I thought was a pretty unbeatable price online just a few months ago but soon after receiving it I wondered if I'd made the right decision. Dont get me wrong its not all bad but I have had some problems getting photos, particularly those taken indoors or in low light conditions, to not appear at all fuzzy or otherwise out of focus.
  • Pros: Small and lightweight, video capture time isnt limited, comes with useful accessories
  • Cons: Only takes SD cards up to 512mb, battery indicator not reliable, problems with focus

Just right!

JayJayHay, Amazon

  • Summary: I bought this camera for my son, Jacob, and this is what he says: Brilliant camera! Good sides: Great looks, screen not too big or too small at 2". The optical viewfinder is useful when the sun is shining on the screen, and this addition is getting increasingly rare. A good 5 megapixel resolution. Bad sides: Nothing serious! This is not a big concern, but pictures can turn out a bit dark, but can be corrected with a PC.

Great little camera!!!

R. D. Vaughan, Amazon

  • Summary: This is my second ever digital camera, and it is by far better than my other one! You have various modes to use. Auto, Program, Macro, Landscape, Sports, Night and Video, and you can tinker with all these settings to get some really nifty shots! The Auto mode is for the point-and-click option, but the others are all of a good use for getting a certain detail you require. You can alter ISO settings, Metering settings, Exposure and White Balance settings, etc...
