Summary: There was not a model on display and I purchased the keyboard because of the Yamaha reputation. However, when I got home and played it, the sound volume was not even sufficient at maximum volume. Also, when I played more than 5 notes at a time, it seemed like one or more keys wouldn't sound. PLAY BEFORE YOU BUY!, maybe I purchased a defective piano? I took it back and bought a Casio that is excellent.
Pros: The Yamaha name
Cons: Sound. Also, it doesn't come with song book.
non intuitive compaired to my old Casio/RS MD-1700

Summary: This may be fine for a beginner.. I should have tried it B4 buying online.. everything is a pain... to set up sound storage to volumes.. I can't stand it. You need the book constantly.. unless you just play Piano.. sometimes you turn it on and every note sustains and stops when you hit the pedal, other times the pedal works.. turning it on and off fixes it, or hitting the switch on the pedal..
Pros: Key feel and G.piano sound
Cons: a lot.. volumes have to be reset for every sound, sustain is on and off, big learning curve and non-intuitive
