  • Summary: Wow! This arrived so quickly and took hardly any time to put together. Lovely piano, weighted keys make it feel like the real thing. Great for all the family to use - beginners to experienced. Especially like the volume control so can have it on low and not disturb everyone else. Kids love the different voices and pre-recorded songs. Great buy!

  • Summary: This is an ideal piano for my needs and after using an upright piano for many years I now no longer need to pay for regular tuning. It has a lovely sound which I would expect from the Yamaha.

Ticks Most of the Boxes

  • Summary: I am very pleased with my recent purchase. The assembly instructions were very clear and made it a straightforward operation for 2 people, though. The piano itself has a lovely tone and touch, with very good foot pedals to boot(!), sounds like a traditional upright. I find the only drawback to be the music rest, which is nothing like tall enough to hold some of my music - OK with hardback books, but not very good with soft sheet music, which tends to fall over.

Excellent!!

  • Summary: To prove that I know a little what I'm talking about, I have been playing piano for around 12 years and I reached grade 7. I have played acoustic piano's before, and I had a digital piano for around 7 years before purchasing this one. My old digital piano (Technics P50) had a very impressive sound that, quite honestly, took some beating. However, anyone who knows the P50 will know that it's a "gigging" piano.

  • Summary: I've been playing the acoustic piano for around 10 years, but when I started going to university I became heavily out of practice. When I went home during the holidays I would often find myself drawn back to the piano. For my 21st birthday my parents asked if I wanted a keyboard - something I'd wanted for years, but never quite gotten round to it. The problem is, most keyboards have two issues: 1.

  • Summary: Yamaha YDP 141 I purchased this Yamaha earlier this year. I had been looking at second hand pianos but as we wanted to keep it in a bedroom we were mainly concerned about the weight problem and getting it upstairs. My husband and I are in our late 70's so portability was paramount, and the Yamaha 141,which is in virtual kit form, our only answer.
