Yamaha PSR290 61-Key Portable Keyboard

  • Excerpt: I wanted to start learning a musical instrument at the age of 45, My teacher said that learning keybord would be the easiest at this age and it would compliment my vocal practice. We went and bought a Yamaha PSR290 Keyboard for INR.14,500 in 2004. It was a semi professional model, Not good for live programs but ideal for learning keyboard and practice. It was a sleek piece with a silver body and inbuilt speakers.

  • Excerpt: As a piano player, I am awful called upon to play the church organ for many wedding and funerals that occur in my local parish - a great little earner! However, as I moved away from the area a while ago, I generally only agree to play these days, only for friends and family who are getting married.

Good synth for practice, not for performing!
