Brilliant for a beginner
Summary: This keyboard is brilliant for someone who is just learning how to play the piano/keyboard. I bought my NP11 when i was doing my music GCSE at school and was brilliant because it was basic but with a small variety of instruments. I did buy a sustain pedal for my keyboard though!
Pros: great for beginners, metronome, lightweight, variety of instruments and functions .
Summary: This is a fantastic beginners item for anyone without the space for an upright piano. The sound is just like the real thing and very easy to store. I purchased it for my teenager abut I shall also resume playing. Thanks Yamaha :)
The Piaggero - A Yamaha Digital Piano Stuck Between Two Worlds!
20 December 2012
Summary: A couple of months ago whilst talking to a friend about my Christmas 2012 and what I will be doing to spend Christmas without my mother this year, I wondered to the back of my mind who I would be visiting instead of the other way around!
Pros: A "compact & light" touch sensitive digital piano with some nice voices & a budget price .
Cons: Could do with a heavier touch & louder power, fussy controls for custom building, naff stand .
Summary: My keyboard was delivered just over a week ago now, and I have to say that overall i'm very happy with it! First of all the service through Prime was excellent and it was delivered on time (even though it was being delivered to an offshore island).

Summary: The Yamaha NP-11 Piaggero Portable Digital Piano is a fine example of a low-budget, beginner to advanced player digital piano. I recently sold a Korg SP250, which by rights is a proper digital piano (in that it has properly weighted keys, is the full width and weighs a tonne).
