Excerpt: I do a lot of home studio recording and live performance as a keyboard player, and I needed a good, hands-on mono synth. I tried going the VST and midi controller route, but it fell short. The Bass Station II is well built, especially the keyboard.
Excerpt: I tried this synth at winter namm show and was sold instantly. This synth is seriously awesome. I own a microbrute, a mopho and a bass station 2. By far my favorite of the three. I can get the aggressive bass tones I am looking for quickly with this synth. I love the fact that it has after touch.
Excerpt: I've been using this keyboard to make electronic music both live and recorded. I can compare it to the Dave Smith Mopho keyboard (which I also have), and I would say that I actually think I prefer it (even though the Mopho is a lot more expensive).
Excerpt: Cf file test, all is said. UTILIZATION The control layout is damn good, everything is easy. Additional functions accessible via the keyboard takes a little more time, some have been in direct control but I do not miss me too much either.

Summary: A quite brilliant bass synth. Fantastic sound quality - lots of bottom end, more than I expected. Fairly good quality build, good quality plastic body but not the best keys ever. Pots are sturdy if a bit tighty packed for larger fingers.
