Last time I buy an M-Audio

james11076, amazon.com
10 September 2011
  • Summary: I had the same exact issue as another reviewer. Very bad product and customer service. My advice is to never buy an M-Audio product. They will rip you off and offer bad customer service that gives you the run around with no solution.

I might upload a video of me taking a baseball bat to this POS

DC, amazon.com
20 March 2011
  • Summary: Wow, lead paint? PEOPLE READ PRODUCT REVIEWS BEFORE YOU BUY!!! Don't be like me... Besides not being able to eat while using this board and having "Wash Hands" taped on it the only problem I have with this board is the pitch wheel wigging out.

Does not work with Windows 7, especially 64-bit

Jim L. Williamson, amazon.com
4 February 2011
  • Summary: Warning for Windows 7 users, especially 64-bit versions: Do not purchase! M-Audio advertises that the product is Windows 7 compatible, both on website product description and a sticker on the box. I bought mine from Guitar Center for my son in college, and he could not install it at school.

Great until it just stops working

C. Lock..., amazon.com
4 November 2010
  • Summary: This is a nice inexpensive controller until it just stops working. The symptoms are; it still lights up, the pitch bend, modulation and volume slid still sends midi signals, but the keyboards goes dead. There may be parts available to repair it from M-Audio, but the cost is 25-45% of the price.

Sad Results

Adam R. Boyd, amazon.com
7 October 2009
  • Summary: I bought this for college in the end of the summer and it worked great. Now it's October, and it won't play any notes for me for my Aural Theory Homework. This isn't what I expected when you pay close to 100 dollars.

No support from M-audio

poppycocks, amazon.co.uk
2 November 2010
  • Summary: Keyboard worked fine for just over a year (very light use) but then packed up altogether. A hardware problem. The keys would input (to Logic or Garageband) but after 10 seconds the input would just stop for no reason. The website offers no support and is very confusing.

Avoid

S. Rehal "Skillgannon", amazon.co.uk
27 March 2009
  • Summary: A terrible keyboard, you really have to strike the keys to get a loud enough sound. Vista support? it gets picked up by Vista, the software that came with it is only for XP. M-Audio website is terrible for support. Submitted a question regarding the software and they took 8 days to get back.
