Excerpt: Sound wave surfer devise. I would recommend it as first synthesizer or a meditation tool. Love that it works on batteries lots of fun anywhere. You can take it outside, to your job, school or a park. Great gadget!
Excerpt: This is a toy. A fun toy, but a toy nonetheless. It is capable of producing a wide variety of sounds. The delay is really cool for a device this size. The only thing I don't particularly like is the keyboard being permanently set to "wide" mode (the monotribe has three settings).
Pros: Analog, Easy to Use, Expressive, Portable, Size
Excerpt: Alright I'm a Korg fan. Have the Monotron Duo, which is awesome especially since you can play it in tune, but the Delay is extra amazing. It is way more versatile than any youtube video would lead you to believe...just subtle alterations of the knobs open gateways to truely otherworldly sounds.
Excerpt: I'm a sound designer and keyboard/synth player, so i've been using my monotron delay mostly for creating sound fx and processing external audio. It's signal path really very simple, and although it has no resonance control, i'm not really missing it. The filter is great and the space echo dirty.
Pros: Dirty, Easy to Use, Lovely Filter, Nice Space Echo, Portable
Excerpt: This is probably the funnest [$] I've ever spent. It is a simple and straight-forward analogue synthesizer with a delay. The ribbon spans the entire range of the LFO, so don't expect to be able to play specific notes like on the Monotron Duo.I would definitely recommend adding some rubber feet to...
Excerpt: I knew going in that the Korg Monotron Delay would be somewhat limited considering its diminutive size and [$] price tag. What I didn't expect was the monstrous sound that comes out of this thing!
Pros: Easy to Use, Portable, Responsive / Good Action
