User Review

Walmart

  • Summary: Everything is ok, but the volume is not very loud. It's good enogh for my child to take lessons, but eventually we will have to get an amp or another keyboard with louder volume.

Get more than what you pay for.

  • Summary: We bought it for my son for his piano lessons and this keyboard with its touch sensitive keys helps him practice as though a real piano. I was surprise what a nice set of headphones it comes with and very comfortable. Didn't even know it has a built in music book holder on the back of it while you play.

Perfect for our grandson

Walmart

  • Summary: This Casio keyboard is a great keyboard for our beginner. It was recommended by his music teacher. He is only 6, but is able to work well with the keyboard. It was a descent price for a touch sensitive keyboard, stand, headphones and power supply. Having it shipped to our local Wal-mart was free and very easy.

good value

  • Summary: The keyboard arrived quite quickly, sound quality is very good, touch response works well. You can connect the keyboard to a computer with an ordinary usb A B cable (about 2 or 3 pounds). Tested with ubuntu and "pianobooster" and works fine. Very good value.

Casio CTK3000

Badger, amazon.co.uk
3 January 2012
  • Summary: We bought this for our fifteen yr old son who seems to think he's going to be the next big thing in the popular beat combo field. It does everything he wants it to do and he's been recording and playing at mixing the results. Slightly disappointed that this doesn't automatically come with a mains adaptor, or indeed any batteries, so that you can't just open the box and get a sound out of it.

Better than a Yamaha!

S.J, amazon.co.uk
24 December 2011
  • Summary: I had a difficult decision choosing between the Casio and the Yamaha but I soon decided to go with this because of the touch sensitive keys. Now that it has arrived I am really happy that I went with the Casio. The keys are not only touch sensitive but also weighted which really adds the effect of a real piano, as I have also used a Yamaha keyboard of the same price I can say that the Casio is much better in tone and feel.

Great quality for the money

Dreamstimer, amazon.co.uk

  • Summary: I bought this for my 5 yrs old who is learning to play a piano. I'm not an expert so don't judge this review as if I'm in the Romanian Philarmonica. The device is fabulous considering the price. One may argue the plastic and its margins are not perfect, however, it has tons tons tons of things. I didn't even try 10% of its features, as we're using for what we bought it. However, both my children are now using it and my wife is also learning along.
