Great keyboard for the price
17 December 2011
Summary: This is a great keyboard for the price. My only complaint is that the velocity sensitivity could be more accurate and responsive, which is why I am giving it 4 stars. It also does not come with a power cable, but I have it powered via USB. All the other features are great. It's light weight, compact, and has a very small foot print which is what I needed.
Summary: I purchased (Behringer U-Control UMX610 61-Key USB/MIDI Controller Keyboard with USB/Audio Interface (Purchased on 11/09/2011) by Behringer) this for my Grandson and it was everything he thought it would be and more. From the time ordered to time receiving was well within the time advertized, they gave me a window of delivery time and the first day of that window it was delivered. You will be pleased with the service from this distributor, without any doubt.
Summary: I bought this mainly to have a larger midi keyboard for my home DAW. It is a decent unit for the price. I didn't really need the USB audio interface, but I plugged it in anyway and it works just fine. For grins, I also tried to set up the included software. Six hours later, I wasn't grinning. Behringer intended this package to be kind of a "beginner's DAW" kit, but it takes more than a beginner's knowledge to figure out how to make any of it work together.
Summary: This thing is great for the price. It's sturdy for a MIDI keyboard and is surprisingly fun to play. No, it doesn't have the full weight of a concert piano but honestly this semi-weighted bit is a HUGE step up from the norm of non-weighted. I've had it a few months now and have made a significant amount of music using it, I love the feel of it. The knobs and buttons are sturdy, and it has a slim profile so it doesn't take up too much room.
Summary: Product description sounded like just what I was looking for...but when I brought the item home and tried to set it up, I realized it didn't include a power chord. Seems a little ridiculous they can't even include something that seems vital to operation, but I guess not. Otherwise it seems great for what I'm gonna use it for.
Summary: Initially I was skeptical about the quality of the UMX 610. No More. This Controller works great and as advertised. Setup was a breeze. I had read alot of folks complaining about the ENERGY XT 25 software that was included but I don't know why. It works and It will get you recording with the umx 610. Behringer Hit this one outta the park., The keys are a bit stiff (Synth Action) and the Touch respose is a bit wanting. But, For the Money, There is NO better Controller.
Summary: MIDI keyboard controllers in general fall into a gray area between computer controller and musical instrument. Most seem to focus on the integration between device and DAW and fall very short on playability. I am a piano and guitar player and have reasonably good quality equipment in my recording studio. I wanted a keyboard that I could use in a different location, primarily for polishing up previously recorded tracks during the editing process.
Summary: They did not provide an adaptor. I was so upset cz I just do not see the point why would behringer not give you an adapter with their product. Yes there is a usb cable to connect to a computer but what happens to those customers who do not wish to do so but instead want to make their rack sound. I do not see the point behind this. Seriously. Really disappointed thats what I am. Sorry I cant give you feedback on the keyboard cz cant use it.
