Summary: The death of the framechannel makes the wi-fi option useless. Framechannel was the only way to get rich multimedia options and pictures on the frame through wifi. The wifi has no other functionality now that framechannel shut it's doors. You're better off buying a cheaper equivalent without the wifi cause that's what your left with. Even when the frame channel was up and running, I had connectivity issues with it. Other than that, it's a great looking frame!
Summary: We purchased two of these frames as presents for the grandparents this Christmas. Setting them up for wifi use went pretty smoothly, although typing in a long WEP key was awkward. I set up a PicasaWeb account specifically for this purpose, and pointed both frames to it so now I can add pictures remotely. The recipients love them, and as long as they stay in range of the wireless router, we haven't had problems with the pictures not streaming properly.
Summary: I took this frame, after reading on the features, wifi and most importantly framechannel integration. Just few months after, framechannel services were shut down. Toshiba has also not updated the hardware (or I am not able to find update) to include any other services. Now it can only talk to picassa or the SD card. Vikas.
Summary: These products are no longer supported by Toshiba. Since the manual is not included in the box, one can be found at the Retrevo web site, but I was unable to find mention of it on the various Toshiba sites. The referenced "toshibaframe.com" site in the documents is a web site for the Toshiba touchpad. In addition, the WiFi services are virtually useless -- One service, Framechannel is no longer available.
Terrible Product/Terrible Toshiba Customer Service

Summary: I bought two of these products for my two adult kids who are now in their own places. One worked a bit and then stopped showing images (and we have several other brand of digital images which work just fine). The other one didn't even turn on out of the box. Toshiba's customer service was terrible. I had documented that they were less than 6 months old and Toshiba refused the replacement of the one that works a bit but doesn't correctly show images.
Nice picture display, iffy and buggy wifi connection

Summary: It's a nice-appearing little frame, and the images show well, with good contrast and color saturation. Playing back pictures from an inserted media card is a snap. I rate these aspects at four and one half stars. No cigar for the wifi implementation, however, which is problematic. First off, the frame needs to be placed physically close to my router for the wifi to work with any degree of reliability. If I place it on a different floor from the router, all bets are off.

Summary: Edit: Framechannel has gone out of business so the picture frame can no longer link to Facebook or other online sites. Because of that, I would not buy this picture frame anymore... ----- It's not that hard to set-up (although in general I find it's easy to use electronics, so take that for what it's worth). My main reason for purchasing this photo album was to see the pictures I and my friends have posted to facebook. It does exactly that.
Summary: I purchased a toshiba digital frame dmf102xku, Firstly, no owner manual comes with the item you have to downlaod it from the site. Secondly, I played with the frame and had a few technical problems so I called toshiba to ask for assistance. The first rep was abrasive and very unhelpful telling me most pple figure it out on their own and refused to transfer me to anyone.
Summary: The first limitation I found is the size of the pictures, be aware that you'll have problems if your pictures are 2MB or bigger. In my case I like taking pictures with the highest resolution that my camera allows, and that's sometimes just above 2MB per picture, so it's an inconvenince to have to save a reduced version for the frame. The second limitation is that the wireless capability only works with Picasa and FrameChannel.
