The Sony S-Frame DPP-F800 is a digital photo frame that features a 20.3cm (8-inch) WVGA wide (16:10) tilt-angle LCD that provides users with high resolution image output with LED backlight that offers detailed view of photos. It also features an adjustable angle for viewing, 256MB memory internal storage space for up to 500 photos (images saved at 2 megapixel resolution to increase effective capacity); PC-free photo printing with in-device enlarge, reduce and crop tools to refine images before printing; creative print functions that includes templates to produce ID photos, layout prints and calendars from favorite images; comes with a photo frame that folds flat to conceal printer discreetly behind LCD panel; a choice of slideshow viewing modes; auto orientation sensor which ‘flips’ images for correct viewing orientation in portrait or landscape frame positions; illuminated Sony logo which disappears automatically when frame is positioned vertically in portrait position; and supports a USB interface to allow users to connect a USB flash memory to import photos. It comes with a mini-USB port for connection to printer/PC. Other features on the S-Frame DPP-F800 include a multi card slot that accepts Memory Stick™, Memory Stick Duo™, SD (SDHC), CompactFlash™, MMC and xD media; picture search functions that lets users browse through stored photos and videos by event, folder or user tags; Alarm clock mode that wakes users up in style to favorite images; On/off timer that lets users set S-frame to switch automatically to power-saving standby mode when display not needed, e.g. at night and a remote control that lets users control slideshow/playback functions from anywhere in the room.
