Staggeringly expensive for something as simple as a digital photo frame, but for those who want the best, this is undoubtedly it. Read more
This digital photo frame is absolutely supercalifragilisticexpedaliouscious! My only suggestion is that Sony make the image area larger, without such a thick border. I'd like to see the images cover most of the entire surface. Unlike other digital photo frames, the detail is deffinately HD and the back light is wonderful as well as adjustable. Some other models fail to reproduce good detail and many make images look darker with washed-out colors. Read more
The images look fantastic, and the design is easily the best out there. My only concern is the line in the manual about photos stored in internal memory may (will?) at some point degrade, meaning I'll have to go through the process again of loading photos (OR spending more to get a memory card and loading pix on that). I'm at loss as to which digital frame to purchase. I want very high quality pictures with a medium range of options that are relatively easy to use and would welcome suggestions. The very highest I would go in terms of cost is around $250. In addition, the X1000 seems to be very positively reviewed and is very tempting. However, - Is another reviewer's statement about Sony discontinuing these frames valid? - My HDTV is not a Sony. What is the minimum amount of additional items I would have to purchase in order to view on my tv?
