Summary: All digital frames are not equal. Some go dark and must be restarted if you have a power failure - not this one. Some are easier to manage than others. The content management system on this one is very easy, and is handled via the remote control.
Summary: A very good picture frame . Pictures are bright, there is world clock function and the remote is easy to use. Having trouble downloading music on I though. Right now I'm just playing the music it comes with. All in all would definitely recommend.
Summary: It's a piece of crap! Probably like most Sony products. The top half of the screen lost the color. when i called to the repair center they told me it's not under the warranty bc I purchased the frame more than a year ago. (it was actually a year plus day). eventually they accepted to pay for the repair. but who needs expensive frame that good only for one year. It's a piece of crap!
Summary: This frame costs more than a lot of other brands but it's well worth the money. I tried a few other frames and was always disappointed by how bad the images looked and poorly the frames worked (freezing issues were common). This frame performs flawlessly and has dozens of options you can customize to make it fit your needs. Sony brand name is lit but can also be turned off which is a nice touch.
Summary: I bought this as a gift for my Dad, who is putting thousands of his color slides into it for alternate viewing. He loves the clock feature as well, along with the remote control feature. He had bought another one first, a different brand, which did not have all the bells and whistles that this one has. He's pretty happy!
Summary: Bought this as a gift and loaded it up with a few pictures. Setup and picture loading was straightforward and the pictures, the slideshows, and the unit itself looked great. My only complaint is the price.
Summary: Sony DPF-VR100 10.2-Inch WSVGA LCD (16:10) Digital Photo Frame (Black) The only negative was the operators manual, could be easier to understand. Also, for some unknown reason it would not read an 8GB usb flash drive I had. I purchased a new 4GB usb flash and it worked fine. Product is high quality, great picture, many many photo functions. I would purchase this product again and highly recommend it.
Summary: I purchased this frame a year ago and have enjoyed it so much that it runs virtually all the time, which may be a problem as the screen has suddenly begun flickering and is generally unstable, whether viewing photos or not. I've tried resetting it, to no avail, and am attempting - with great difficulty - to update the firmware although the update does not seem to address this issue. I've written Sony to ask if the screen has failed, as I suspect.
Summary: This frame is wonderful. The picture quality is great and set up is very easy. You can set up different folders, choose slideshow or individually scan thru pictures, select picture quality settings, set up auto power on/off function (easy to set up in either advanced or simple mode) and so much more. I was comparing this frame to a comparable HP wood frame but the HP had too many complaints about the auto power on/off malfuntioning.
Summary: Well, maybe not exactly, but stay with me. I bought one of these for myself and was very impressed with the ease of loading pictures and getting the frame to do what I wanted. My only previous experience with a digital photo frame was not good. That one had a horrible interface and it forgot your settings when you turned it off. It was a nightmare. This Sony was the polar opposite. It's so easy I decided to get one for my dad as a Father's Day gift.
