Summary: All digital frames are not equal. Some go dark and must be restarted if you have a power failure - not this one. Some are easier to manage than others. The content management system on this one is very easy, and is handled via the remote control.
Summary: A very good picture frame . Pictures are bright, there is world clock function and the remote is easy to use. Having trouble downloading music on I though. Right now I'm just playing the music it comes with. All in all would definitely recommend.
Summary: It's a piece of crap! Probably like most Sony products. The top half of the screen lost the color. when i called to the repair center they told me it's not under the warranty bc I purchased the frame more than a year ago. (it was actually a year plus day). eventually they accepted to pay for the repair. but who needs expensive frame that good only for one year. It's a piece of crap!
Summary: This frame costs more than a lot of other brands but it's well worth the money. I tried a few other frames and was always disappointed by how bad the images looked and poorly the frames worked (freezing issues were common). This frame performs flawlessly and has dozens of options you can customize to make it fit your needs. Sony brand name is lit but can also be turned off which is a nice touch.
Summary: I purchased this frame a year ago and have enjoyed it so much that it runs virtually all the time, which may be a problem as the screen has suddenly begun flickering and is generally unstable, whether viewing photos or not. I've tried resetting it, to no avail, and am attempting - with great difficulty - to update the firmware although the update does not seem to address this issue. I've written Sony to ask if the screen has failed, as I suspect.
Summary: I got one of these for Christmas from my daughter and I love it and raved about it so much that she wanted one for her birthday and now she is raving about it. Great product and great service. Thanks!
Summary: I purchased a handful of these for use at a tradeshow, to show video files on a repeated loop. The manual clearly indicates compatibility with .mp4 files, but they would not play. That's no trouble since I have the software (iSkySoft Video Converter) to make .mov, .mp4, .wmv... The next issue was that the screen does not allow continuous play between multiple files. That means you need to create one large file with multiple files repeating within.
Summary: Well, maybe not exactly, but stay with me. I bought one of these for myself and was very impressed with the ease of loading pictures and getting the frame to do what I wanted. My only previous experience with a digital photo frame was not good. That one had a horrible interface and it forgot your settings when you turned it off. It was a nightmare. This Sony was the polar opposite. It's so easy I decided to get one for my dad as a Father's Day gift.
Summary: I am giving this four stars instead of five only because there seems to be a glitch if power is lost (which happens fairly often in our neighborhood). To date this has happened to us once: the frame was turned off, but when power was restored the frame came on, both with pictures and music. I haven't checked the owner's manual to see if there is a known fix, but I doubt it since to my knowledge the frame doesn't have a battery backup.
